In this photographic project I have explored the links between photography, landscape, affective landscapes, memory, the memory of places, the matter of places and the matter of memory.

The chosen geography is the Empordà (Catalonia), because it is the place of my childhood, memories and landscapes.

These are places that have changed a lot in recent years due to climate change and look very different from what I remember. That is why I wanted to photograph them with their own materiality: all the photographs have been created using earth, water, leaves, sand or bark from these places.

This photographic series has been published in a photobook, in which I have also incorporated texts that dialogue with the photographs and I have also indicated the different types of materials and techniques, as well as which types corresponds to each photograph.
